 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers in Stranger Things, recently shared in an exclusive interview that he was deeply touched while reading a key scene from season 5's Volume 2. 

In this emotional moment from the penultimate episode, Will opens up about his feelings and identity to his family and friends in a heartfelt conversation.


Schnapp said he "cried reading" the script and praised the Duffer brothers for writing it "so perfectly." He admitted feeling nervous about how the scene would play out, especially the warm group hug from characters like Jonathan, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven that follows. However, he shared that filming made it feel natural and genuine.


The actor highlighted how meaningful this storyline is, noting the support from fans and how it could resonate with young people going through similar experiences. He expressed gratitude for the thoughtful way the scene was handled, which ties into Will's personal growth and journey in the final season. Volumes 1 and 2 are now streaming on Netflix, with the series finale arriving on December 31.
