 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer.  Shock as Popular Radio DJ Warras Shot Dead in Johannesburg CBD


Shock and disbelief have gripped many following reports that popular radio broadcaster and programme host DJ Warras was shot and killed in the Johannesburg CBD earlier today.


 The news of his alleged death was first shared by Durban-based radio station Gagasi FM, where he previously worked. His passing was also confirmed by his friend, Rob Hersov, who shared the information publicly.


 DJ Warras was widely respected in the radio industry and known for his influence and contribution to broadcasting. Details surrounding the incident remain unclear at this stage.


 Police have not yet released an official statement regarding the shooting. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter further to establish the full circumstances of the incident
