Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011.  SHOW THE SAME MIGHT AT HOME, ADEYANJU URGES TINUBU TO USE BENIN COUP RESPONSE AGAINST TERRORISTS IN NIGERIA

Human rights lawyer and social activist Deji Adeyanju is calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring home the same military force and urgency displayed in stopping the attempted coup in the Republic of Benin.

In a statement on Monday, Adeyanju praised the swift and coordinated action of the Nigerian Armed Forces, noting that the use of Air Force fighter jets and ground troops proved Nigeria’s capacity to defend democracy beyond its borders.

He described the intervention as bold and exemplary, adding that it sends a strong signal to anti-democratic forces across the Sahel.

But Adeyanju warned that the success in Benin would mean little if Nigeria fails to deploy similar decisiveness against the terrorists, bandits, and armed groups still ravaging communities across the North-East, North-West, and North-Central regions.

According to him, Nigeria’s military strength must now be redirected toward crushing domestic insecurity, insisting that regional leadership carries no meaning if citizens continue to live in fear.

He urged President Tinubu to treat Nigeria’s internal security challenges with the same urgency and seriousness that marked the Benin operation, stressing that true leadership begins at home.
