Legendary singer Barry Manilow, 82, known for iconic hits like “Copacabana,” “Mandy,” and “Can’t Smile Without You,” has shared an encouraging update with fans about a recent health discovery.

Following weeks of bronchitis, an MRI revealed a spot on his left lung. Barry announced that it was caught early—thanks to excellent medical care—and he will soon undergo a procedure to remove it. Doctors believe it has not spread, and no additional treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation are planned at this time.

To prioritize recovery, Manilow has postponed his January 2026 concert dates but looks forward to returning to the stage in February. He expressed gratitude for the early detection, calling it “pure luck and a great doctor,” while keeping spirits high with humor, joking about resting with chicken soup and classic TV reruns.

With a decades-long career that continues to inspire millions, Barry Manilow’s timeless music and resilience remain a source of joy worldwide. Wishing him continued strength and a smooth recovery.
