  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Woman dies and officers injured in fire at New Jersey senior living complex

A fire at a senior apartment complex in Bayonne, New Jersey, left one resident dead and injured several police officers.

The blaze erupted around 7:30 a.m. at the 11-story building on 537 Avenue A, with smoke seen billowing from the third floor, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. Firefighters discovered an unresponsive woman inside a bedroom and rushed her to Hudson Regional Hospital Bayonne, where she was pronounced dead. She was later identified as 82-year-old Irene Clark.

Three other residents and eight police officers were treated for smoke inhalation at the hospital, while four additional people received care at the scene. Residents evacuated to a nearby community center before being allowed back into the building later in the day.

Officials said the cause of the fire was not immediately known, and there was no indication of foul play. The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force and the Bayonne Fire Department are conducting an ongoing investigation.
