Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  11.5 million people registered for Harry Styles’ Madison Square Garden residency tickets

Harry Styles’ upcoming Madison Square Garden residency for the Together, Together Tour is already breaking records, with 11.5 million people registering for the pre-sale, according to Ticketmaster.

The company said this marks the “highest volume ever recorded for an artist presale” in New York and “the largest artist presale registration performance ever seen for a single market or residency-style run.” With Madison Square Garden holding 19,500 for each show, the 30-date run offers roughly 585,000 tickets—just 5 percent of the total pre-sale registrations. While some of those sign-ups may come from scalpers or automated bots, the sheer number underscores enormous demand for one of the world’s biggest artists, far exceeding the supply of tickets in a single U.S. city.

Fans have expressed frustration over the high ticket prices, a growing trend in the music industry as production costs rise and demand for major acts continues to soar. Despite the cost, Styles’ shows remain in high demand. Madison Square Garden is the only U.S. stop currently scheduled for 2026, though additional dates were recently added to the European leg of the tour. The Together, Together Tour is expected to be one of the top-grossing tours of the year.

The tour supports Styles’ upcoming fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally., which he announced earlier this month. The album’s lead single, “Aperture,” was released last week, and the full album is set to drop in March. This follow-up comes after Styles’ third album, Harry’s House, which won the 2023 Grammy for Album of the Year and included his global hit “As It Was.”
