 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A KENTUCKY MOTHER OF THREE LOST HER LIFE IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION AFTER AN 81-YEAR-OLD DRIVER CROSSED THE CENTER LANE.(PHOTO).


 A Kentucky mother of three lost her life in a head-on collision after an 81-year-old driver crossed the center lane.


35-year-old Brandy Nash was on her way to visit her mother on the morning of Wednesday, January 14th.


With her husband driving and two of her 3 children in tow, the family were making their way down Taft Highway near Dry Ridge, Kentucky, when the tragedy struck. 


At approximately 11 a.m., a car being driven by an unidentified 81-year-old woman crossed the center line. 


The ensuing crash was catastrophic.  Brandy Nash was in the passenger seat of the family's vehicle. She was pronounced deceased on the scene.  


The 81-year-old woman was also pronounced deceased on scene. 


Brandy's husband was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life threatening  injuries.


Both children were also rushed to the hospital.  One child suffered significant injuries and was forced to undergo surgery. The second child was treated for minor injuries and was released. 


The crash remains under investigation.
