With the success recorded in the year 2025 by the economic and financial commission, the chairman, Ola Olukoyede says in terms of recoveries and convictions, there is need for a special court to prosecute anti corruption cases, to avoid unnecessary delays.
The chairman of the commission stated this at a reward and recognition programme aimed at appreciating personnel who performed well encouraging others to upscale the fight against corruption in the country.
With recoveries running into billions of naira, millions of dollars and hundred thousands of pound sterling and euros while convictions are in thousands, the commisssion says it will improve on the gains achieved with integrity in order to remain the nation’s foremost anti corruption agency.
