 Peter Obi joins Archbishop Jude T. Omooo, in the foundation laying stone of sacred heart primary and secondary School in Ozubulu, promises monthly subvention until it is completed.


Former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has reaffirmed his commitment to education with the laying of the foundation stone for the Sacred Heart Primary and Secondary School in Ozubulu.


Obi performed the ceremony alongside the Papal Nuncio to Nigeria, Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo, describing the event as deeply fulfilling and a strong reminder of the transformative power of education in society.


He announced his decision to support the school project through monthly financial subvention until its completion, noting that the gesture is aimed at ensuring the realization of the school’s vision, particularly for children who may lack access to quality education.


According to Obi, meaningful development is anchored on shared responsibility and sustained commitment.


 He added that the Sacred Heart School project represents hope, action, and a deliberate investment in the future through education, which he described as one of the most powerful tools for societal transformation.
