  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING RACKETEERED: Two Suspects Implicated


The 'E' Divisional Police Headquarters,  Bauchi State Command is investigating a case of criminal conspiracy, human trafficking, assault, extortion, and defamation.


2. On 12th February, 2026, at about 1300hrs, a complainant, Ebere Wilson, 20yrs of Wuntin Dada, reported that she was assaulted and had her phone (Tecno Spark 4, blue in colour) confiscated by one Gloria Joseph, 27yrs of Gudum Hausawa, on 11th February, 2026.


3. Investigation revealed that one Joseph (surname unknown) allegedly conspired with one Light Mandis, 28yrs of Yelwan Kagadama, to lure Wilson and her friend, Mercy, to Ghana for prostitution.


4. The case is being transferred to SCID Bauchi for further investigation while CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+) directed that the suspects be immediately charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
