 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING RACKETEERED: Two Suspects Implicated


The 'E' Divisional Police Headquarters,  Bauchi State Command is investigating a case of criminal conspiracy, human trafficking, assault, extortion, and defamation.


2. On 12th February, 2026, at about 1300hrs, a complainant, Ebere Wilson, 20yrs of Wuntin Dada, reported that she was assaulted and had her phone (Tecno Spark 4, blue in colour) confiscated by one Gloria Joseph, 27yrs of Gudum Hausawa, on 11th February, 2026.


3. Investigation revealed that one Joseph (surname unknown) allegedly conspired with one Light Mandis, 28yrs of Yelwan Kagadama, to lure Wilson and her friend, Mercy, to Ghana for prostitution.


4. The case is being transferred to SCID Bauchi for further investigation while CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+) directed that the suspects be immediately charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
