 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Michelle Yeoh awarded 2,836th star on Hollywood Walk of Fame 

Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh, known for Everything Everywhere All at Once, has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The celebration included appearances by actresses Awkwafina and Sandra Oh, actor Ke Huy Kwan, and filmmakers Paul Feig, Jon M. Chu, Ang Lee, and Daniel Kwan. Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez praised Yeoh’s “extraordinary talent, grace, and groundbreaking career,” saying her star recognizes a trailblazer whose work continues to inspire audiences worldwide. Yeoh, 63, is celebrated for roles in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Memoirs of a Geisha, Tomorrow Never Dies, Crazy Rich Asians, Guardians of the Galaxy, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, A Haunting in Venice, and Wicked.
