 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. MRS IFEOMA FROM AMAIKWO VILLAGE IN AWKA , ANAMBRA STATE HAS LAMENTED OVER THE DECISION OF HER ELDER BROTHER AND HER UMUNNA TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF HER FATHER'S PROPERTY FROM HER MOTHER TO HER ELDER BROTHER.(PHOTO).


 Mrs Ifeoma from Amaikwo village in Awka , Anambra State has lamented over the decision of her elder brother and her Umunna to transfer ownership of her father's property from her mother to her elder brother.


She narrated that her elder brother Emeka has been a threat to her family for a long time but they have been trying to bear his threat and problems, now that his threat and problems have become worse, she has decided to bring the case to Anambra State Government.


According to her story, her elder brother Emeka, who is just 45years old, conspired with their Umunna to move her 71years old mother away from the house she built with their father her husband, and transfer ownership of the house to him(Emeka). 


She also mentioned that she has evidence of Emeka her brother assaulting her 71years old mother and threatening her life. She said they have reported the matter to Awka 33 village youth but they couldn't resolve the issue.
