 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Pulp Fiction actor Peter Greene’s cause of death disclosed

The New York City medical examiner has confirmed the cause of death for actor Peter Greene, who passed away on Dec. 12 at the age of 60.

According to the report, Greene died from an accidental gunshot wound to his left armpit, which injured the brachial artery. He was found in his Manhattan apartment during a wellness check two months earlier. Greene was best known for his role as the villainous security guard Zed in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction.

Born Oct. 8, 1965, in Montclair, New Jersey, Greene began acting in his 20s, first appearing on NBC’s crime drama Hardball in 1990, followed by his feature debut in Laws of Gravity (1992) opposite Edie Falco. He earned critical acclaim for his performance in Clean, Shaven, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival, before landing major roles in The Mask and Pulp Fiction in 1994.

Greene continued to appear in films such as The Usual Suspects, Training Day, Blue Streak, and The Bounty Hunter, as well as TV series including The Black Donnellys, Life on Mars, and Chicago P.D.

His manager, Gregg Edwards, confirmed that Greene is survived by a brother and a sister.
