 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  UNIZIK declares state of emergency on infrastructure at Nnewi College of Health Sciences


In a bold move towards translating vision into action, the Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has declared a State of Emergency on infrastructural upgrade and facilities at the University College of Health Sciences located at Okofia, Nnewi, Anambra State.


Rising from a two-day Council Meeting and facility tour of the College in Nnewi, and Neni, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Barr. Olugbenga Kukoyi gave the immediate approval for the rapid infrastructural development of the College of Health Sciences.


Leading other members of the Council and the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bond Ugochukwu Anyaehie , to the 2nd Induction/ oath taking ceremony of the Department of Anatomy, the Pro-Chancellor, declared a State of Emergency on infrastructural development of the campus.


He informed the students that they are searching for more spaces to build Students hostels while the ones already completed would soon be occupied by the Students.lWhile on a tour of the College campuses located at Nnewi (Okofia and Akamili) and Neni, the council members inspected the extensive construction and facilities at these .
