Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search.  Iranian Military Warns of $200 Oil Barrel Amid Escalating Gulf Conflict


A spokesperson for Iran's military command has issued a stark warning that global oil prices could surge to $200 per barrel as tensions in the Middle East intensify, with attacks on merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz continuing.


Ebrahim Zolfaqari, speaking on behalf of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya military headquarters (associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), stated:  


"Get ready for oil to be $200 a barrel, because the oil price depends on regional security which you have destabilised."
