 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations.  JAMB begins 2026 Direct Entry registration


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced the commencement of the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) registration.


In a statement posted on its official X account on Monday, the board said the sale of application documents began on Monday, March 2, 2026, and will end on Saturday, April 25, 2026.


JAMB advised prospective Direct Entry applicants that the registration service can only be accessed at its offices nationwide.


It wrote: “2026 Direct Entry Registration: This is to inform the prospective DE applicants that sale of application document has commenced today Monday, 2nd March 2026 and will end by Saturday, 25th April 2026.


“Please, note that this service can be accessed only at our offices nationwide.”
