 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Jerry O'Connell says wife Rebecca Romijn, daughters 'became physical' with him after he criticized Kamala Harris' loss


Jerry O’Connell revealed that a political comment he made during the 2024 presidential election sparked tension at home with his wife Rebecca Romijn and their twin daughters. 


Speaking on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, the Stand by Me actor admitted he worried about sharing the story publicly, joking, “If I say this, will I stay married?” 


He recalled watching the election returns late at night and expressing frustration over Kamala Harris’ late entry into the race after Joe Biden dropped out. 


His offhand remark about poor planning was misinterpreted by his family, who reacted physically out of anger.


O’Connell explained that living in California with three politically passionate family members means even lighthearted jokes can trigger strong reactions. 


Maher responded by saying he always voices his true opinions, even if they upset others, arguing that suppressing one’s views is unhealthy. 


O’Connell, who supported Harris during her campaign, attended events in Georgia and later posted a humorous reaction to her loss on social media.


The actor has previously spoken positively about Biden, praising his wisdom at the 2023 White House Correspondents’ Dinner alongside Romijn. 


At the time, both emphasized that age brought experience and insight, calling themselves fans of his leadership. 


Despite the family disagreement, O’Connell’s comments on Maher’s podcast highlighted the challenges of navigating political discussions within households where opinions and emotions run strong.
