 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  Governor Soludo Urges Christians to Embody Easter Virtues

‎Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has called on Christians to recommit to the principles of selflessness and national unity as they commemorate Easter. 

‎In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo emphasized the significance of embodying the values of love, sacrifice, and forgiveness, wishing Nigerians a joyous Easter celebration.

‎He stated that Easter represents the cornerstone of the Christian faith, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, and life over death. He noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ serves as a timeless reminder of redemption, renewal, and the boundless possibilities that emerge from unwavering faith.

‎"This season presents an opportunity for Christians to reflect deeply and recommit to the virtues that Easter embodies: selfless love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and reconciliation," Governor Soludo said. He emphasized that true leadership and citizenship demand putting others before oneself, bearing one another's burdens, and choosing the path of peace in the face of adversity.

‎The Governor extended his warm Easter greetings to Christians in Nigeria and Anambra State, wishing them a joyful celebration with loved ones. He prayed for renewed hope, peace in homes, and guidance towards a more just and harmonious society, urging Nigerians to work towards national unity and progress.
