 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. Judge dismisses most of Blake Lively’s sexual harassment claims against director Justin Baldoni 


A federal judge on Thursday dismissed most of the claims in Blake Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, the director and co-star of her 2024 film “It Ends With Us.”

In the case, Lively’s lawyers argued that Baldoni repeatedly crossed boundaries on set, describing him as “consistently inappropriate.” They also accused Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios production company of carrying out a punitive “smear campaign” after Lively spoke out about the alleged toxic work environment.

Baldoni’s legal team countered, stating their client was “kissed, nuzzled and touched” without her consent. Neither Lively nor Baldoni’s representatives have responded to requests for comment.

A Zoom hearing regarding the remaining claims is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. ET.
