  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  NIGERIA AND MEXICO COMMEMORATE 50 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS


Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the United Mexican States, established on April 14, 1976.


In a statement, the Ministry noted that the five‑decade‑old partnership, founded on respect for sovereignty, non‑interference, and shared commitment to global peace, has remained a stable and mutually beneficial partnerships. 


Both countries coordinate closely within the UN and have expanded cooperation in trade, investment, energy, agriculture, education, culture, and technical exchange. Recent efforts focus on economic diplomacy, private-sector engagement, trade diversification, and emerging areas such as renewable energy. 


The Nigerian Government acknowledges the role of dialogue, institutional cooperation, and people‑to‑people ties in consolidating this relationship, which reflects shared goals of inclusive growth, sustainable development, and South‑South cooperation.


As Nigeria and Mexico mark this golden jubilee, the Ministry reaffirms its commitment to deeper ties through high‑level engagements and strategic cooperation, and congratulates both governments and peoples, expressing confidence in even greater dividends ahead.
