 New Orleans sheriff, jail finance chief indicted on dozens of charges tied to 10-inmate escape  A New Orleans sheriff and the jail’s chief financial officer have been indicted on dozens of charges connected to the escape of 10 inmates from the Orleans Parish Justice Center in May 2025. A special grand jury returned a 30-count indictment against Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson and jail CFO Bianka Brown. All of Hutson’s charges are felonies, while 20 of Brown’s charges are also felonies. Hutson’s bond was set at $300,000, and Brown’s at $200,000. Authorities allege failures in oversight and compliance contributed to the breakout. “While Sheriff Hutson did not personally open the doors of the jail for the escapees, her refusal to comply with basic legal requirements and to take even minimal precautions in the discharge of her duties directly contributed to and enabled the escape,” Attorney General Liz Murrill said. A FLORIDA WOMAN IS BEHIND BARS AFTER SHE IS CAPTURED ON VIDEO KICKING AND THROWING A SMALL DOG.(PHOTO).

 A Florida woman is behind bars after she is  captured on video kicking and throwing a small dog.


33-year-old Imania Davis is facing six counts of aggravated cruelty to animals after a video surfaced of her callous and cruel actions.


Thanks to the Real Time Crime Center cameras in Tampa, Florida, the tiny K-9 will get justice.


On Thursday, April 30th, Imania was caught @busing a small dog in her neighborhood. In the footage released by Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Imania walks into frame holding the pup by the scruff of its neck. She then casually hurls the small dog approximately 10 feet where it comes crashing down on the asphalt.


The little dog runs back up to Imania after being thrown, and she kicks it before picking it up by its neck again. Imania then begins walking down the street head on to the camera. She can be seen looking over her shoulder and all around before she throws the pup much higher and further the second time. 


The video stops there, so there is no information on what happened to the pup next.


 However, deputies took the dog to a vet once they arrived on the scene, and it was treated for a broken leg.


Deputies also arrested Imania Davis while the pup was at the vet. Thank goodness.
