The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially declared the results of its House of Representatives primary elections across Kaduna State in the presence of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The results announced from the various federal constituencies are as follows:
Rt. Abbas Tajudeen emerged winner for the Zaria Federal Constituency with 930 votes.
Amos Gwamna secured victory in the Zango Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency with 1,930 votes.
Arch. Hamza Ibrahim won the Soba Federal Constituency primary with 1,030 votes.
In the Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Hon. Samaila Abdulsuleiman polled 3,049 votes to defeat Abdulazeez Abubakar Kaka, who scored 65 votes, and Abubakar Mahmud, who secured 96 votes.
Mukthar Shehu Ladan emerged as the APC candidate for the Makarfi/Kudan Federal Constituency through a consensus arrangement.
Ahmad Muhammad Munir won the Lere Federal Constituency primary with 1,120 votes.
In Kaura Local Government Area, Prof. Benjamin Gugong defeated Hon. Mathew Donatus after polling 1,085 votes against 255 votes.
Mukthar Zakari Chawai emerged victorious in Kauru Local Government Area with 1,750 votes.
Fidelix Joseph Bagudu clinched the APC ticket for the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency with 1,580 votes.
Hon. Daniel Amos secured victory for the Jama’a/Sanga Federal Constituency with 2,110 votes.
Hon. Gabriel Saleh won the Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency primary with 2,590 votes.
Abubakar Shehu Giwa emerged winner in the Birnin Gwari/Giwa Federal Constituency after polling 2,669 votes.
Hussaini Muhammad Jalo secured the APC ticket for the Igabi Federal Constituency with 1,171 votes.
Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed won the Kaduna South Federal Constituency primary with 1,130 votes.
Hon. Sadiq Ango Abdullahi emerged victorious in the Sabon Gari Federal Constituency with 920 votes.
Bashir Suleiman Zuntu secured 1,787 votes to emerge winner in the Ikara/Kubau Federal Constituency.
The exercise was conducted under the supervision of INEC officials and party stakeholders across the state.
