Kylie Jenner has opened up about the physical and emotional challenges she faced during her second pregnancy, admitting it was much harder than the first time around.
Speaking on the May 13 episode of Therapuss, the Kylie Cosmetics founder shared that carrying her son, Aire Webster, came with intense pain and unexpected complications.
Kylie explained that she had already been battling back pain for years, but things became much worse while pregnant.
At around 12 weeks, she recalled waking up unable to walk because of severe sciatica and lower back pain.
The 28-year-old admitted she entered the pregnancy feeling optimistic because she was in great shape physically and hoped to remain active throughout. Instead, she often found herself stuck in bed because the pain became overwhelming.
She also revealed that nausea hit her hard during the pregnancy. According to Kylie, not eating made things even worse, which led her to constantly snack on comfort foods.
“I ate everything,” she said with a laugh, recalling nightly ice cream cravings along with plenty of carbs and bagels.
Kylie noted that her first pregnancy with daughter Stormi Webster felt far easier by comparison. While she gained around 60 pounds carrying Stormi, she said she gained slightly more with Aire.
At one point, Kylie also shared that doctors advised her to stay in bed after experiencing complications later in the pregnancy.
Beyond the physical struggles, the reality star reflected on the emotional shock of becoming pregnant with Stormi at just 19 years old.
She admitted she was terrified to tell her parents and initially panicked over what life would look like moving forward.
Still, Kylie said deep down she knew motherhood was the path she wanted, regardless of how difficult the situation felt at the time.
“But there was something inside me that knew I wanted this,” she explained, saying she ultimately chose to trust herself and move forward with confidence.
