 26-year-old woman who made false rape claim against ‘kind’ UK banker and tried to blackmail him for money is jailed in Hong Kong  A woman who falsely accused a banker of rape has been jailed for six years.  Isabel Anonia Barbra Eudora Rose from Hackney, East London, was convicted of blackmail and perverting the course of justice after she demanded £100,000 from the UK banker she accused of rape.  The 26-year-old was sentenced at the District Court in Hong Kong on Wednesday, July 22, with Judge Adriana Noelle Tse Ching finding her guilty of blackmail and perverting the course of public justice. She blew kisses and waved to her mum as she was led away, with Judge Adriana Noelle Tse Ching saying she had “not shown an iota of remorse for her wicked behaviour”.  The 26-year-old was handed her guilty verdict after a six-day trial in March, which laid bare her twisted plot.  Rose met the man she accused, known as X at the trial, while travelling in Thailand and f...

SHAKIRA AND BURNA BOY COLLABORATE ON FIFA 2026 WORLD CUP THEME SONG, TITLED, “DAI DAI”.(PHOTO).

 Shakira and Burna Boy have joined forces for the electrifying official theme song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, titled "Dai Dai". 

The collaboration was nounced by Shakira via her X handle, where she shared a snippet of the song and its music video, filmed at the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil .

 The highly anticipated song, which blends reggaetón and Afrobeats, is set to drop on May 14, just ahead of the tournament's kickoff on June 11. "Dai Dai" promises to be an unforgettable anthem, with lyrics highlighting themes of belonging and strength.

 This marks Shakira's second official FIFA World Cup song, following her 2010 hit "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)"  Burna Boy becomes the second Nigerian artist to feature on a FIFA World Cup official song, after Davido's "Hayya Hayya (Better Together)" in 2022. 

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with matches scheduled from June 11 to July 19.
