Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía drew attention when they attended Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour” in Barcelona, enjoying one of the most exclusive areas of the venue.
Videos shared online showed the couple inside “La Casita,” a VIP section styled as a Puerto Rican home, which has become a highlight of the tour thanks to its intimate view of the stage and limited access.
Piqué was also accompanied by his former FC Barcelona teammate Riqui Puig, now with LA Galaxy, making the outing even more notable.
The timing of Piqué’s appearance sparked online debate, as it came shortly after Shakira released “Dai Dai,” her official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup featuring Burna Boy.
Fans expressed frustration, noting Shakira’s past support of Bad Bunny, including his Super Bowl debut, and found it unsettling to see her ex at his concert. Shakira and Piqué’s relationship dates back to 2010, when they met during the filming of “Waka Waka,” the World Cup anthem.
They were together for over a decade, had two sons, Milan and Sasha, and announced their separation in 2022.
Since then, Piqué has gone public with Clara Chía, while Shakira has spoken openly about the emotional toll of the breakup, describing it as the darkest period of her life.
Speculation intensified with the release of “Dai Dai,” as fans believed Shakira included subtle references to Piqué.
One moment in the music video showed footage from Portugal’s 2018 World Cup match against Spain, where Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat trick and Piqué was criticized for defensive errors.
Viewers interpreted this as a deliberate nod, especially since Piqué had previously criticized Ronaldo’s style of play. Social media quickly erupted with reactions, with many praising Shakira’s ability to weave personal references into her work, joking that she “never forgets.”
