 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

 Vanessa Trump calls boyfriend Tiger Woods 'my strength' and one of the 'closest people to me' after sharing cancer diagnosis


Vanessa Trump has leaned on her loved ones as she faces a cancer diagnosis. On May 22, the former model shared throwback photos on Instagram, including one with boyfriend Tiger Woods and another with her five children from her marriage to Donald Trump Jr. She captioned both posts, “My strength through it all! Family and the closest people to me.” 


Just two days earlier, Vanessa revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and thanked her doctors for performing a recent procedure. She expressed gratitude for the support she’s received and asked for privacy as she focuses on recovery.


Her eldest daughter, Kai, 19, also showed support by posting a graduation photo with her mother, calling her the “strongest person I know.” 


Woods, 50, has not publicly commented on Vanessa’s health but has been a steady presence in her life since they began dating in late 2024. The couple went public in March 2025, sharing affectionate posts online. 


Vanessa stood by Woods during his DUI arrest and car crash in March, later supporting his decision to enter rehab overseas to focus on his health.


Despite personal challenges, Vanessa and Woods have continued to show commitment to one another. She has been described as a source of strength for him, even while balancing her responsibilities as a mother of five. 


As she undergoes treatment, Vanessa has made clear that her family and closest relationships remain her foundation, helping her stay hopeful and resilient through this difficult chapter.
