‎Anambra Govt Restores Tazan–3-3 Road After Years of Neglect, Easing Movement in Idemili North

‎By Anthonia Chioma Okeke

‎Residents of Akuzor in Idemili North Local Government Area have commended Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for the rehabilitation of the long-abandoned Tazan Junction to 3-3 Road. For several years, the road was in a deplorable condition, hampering movement for motorists, traders, and residents, particularly during the rainy season. The poor state of the road resulted in frequent accidents and severe hardship for the community.

‎Following the state government’s recent intervention, the road has been rehabilitated, restoring safe passage and bringing relief to thousands of residents and commuters in the area.

‎Speaking on the development, Mr. Ikechukwu Nwakasi, an Awka indigene who has lived in Akuzor for over 28 years, expressed delight at the government’s action.

‎Mrs. Nkechi Edeh, a trader along Akuzor Road, described the former state of the road as a “major threat” to safety. “We thank God for this facelift. It has made life easier for all of us,” she said.

‎Mr. Kenneth Agbo, a commercial motorcyclist in the area, noted that potholes and failed sections of the road previously caused constant accidents. “Those days are gone now. This road is safe again,” he stated.

‎Also speaking, Mrs. Chinyere Chukwuma lauded the governor and described his administration as a “Solution Government.” She added that residents of Akuzor have benefited significantly from Governor Soludo’s road projects and prayed for God’s continued protection and guidance for him.

‎The rehabilitation of the Tazan Junction to 3-3 Road forms part of Governor Soludo’s broader infrastructure drive aimed at opening up communities and improving connectivity across Anambra State.
