Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported.  Bride-to-Be Sara Ceccantini Dies in Greece Car Crash During Bachelorette Trip

A bride-to-be has lost her life following a car crash during her bachelorette trip in Greece, just days before she was due to get married.

Sara Ceccantini, 37, was visiting Mykonos with friends when the vehicle she was travelling in was involved in a collision with another car, according to reports from Greek and Italian media outlets.

The crash is said to have happened overnight between Sunday, June 14, and Monday, June 15. Ceccantini was seated in the back of the car at the time of the incident, alongside three other passengers.

Emergency responders rushed her to hospital in critical condition, but she later passed away from her injuries. One of her friends was also injured and remains under medical care.

Authorities in Greece are still investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.

Ceccantini, originally from Arezzo in Italy, was due to marry her fiancé, Luca Bugialli, on June 20 in Civitella in Val di Chiana. She leaves behind a young daughter.

News of her passing has deeply affected her hometown community. Local officials described the situation as devastating, noting that it came at a time when she was preparing for one of the most significant moments of her life.

Her employer, the Prada Group facility in Valvigna, also paid tribute, with operations reportedly paused temporarily as a sign of respect following the news.

Community messages shared online reflected widespread shock, with many describing her passing as a tragedy that has left the region in mourning just days before her wedding.
