 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  POLICE SERVICE COMMISSION DISOWNS VIRAL FAKE RECRUITMENT SHORTLIST


The Police Service Commission (PSC) has disowned a fake police recruitment shortlist currently circulating on social media, warning applicants not to fall victim to fraudsters.


The Commission says no shortlist of candidates for medical examinations has been released, stressing that the evaluation of the written examination is still ongoing.


 The PSC notes that, successful candidates will be notified through official channels, including email, SMS, and the recruitment portal, once the assessment process is concluded.


The Commission urges members of the public to disregard the fake list and remain vigilant against individuals seeking to exploit applicants.


The PSC also reiterates its commitment to a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process, reminding applicants that the exercise is completely free of charge and that no payment is required at any stage.
