 NSC INSPECTS PROPOSED SPORTS FACILITY SITE IN NNEWI AS OSUMUOH DESCRIBES PROJECT AS GAME CHANGER  By Enoch Uzuegbunam  The President General of Nzukọ Ọra Nnewi Town Union, Hon. Prince Jude Osumuoh, on 22 July, received a delegation from the National Sports Commission for inspection of a proposed sports facility site in Nnewi. The inspection was conducted at the Nigeria Science and Technical College, Nnewi, where officials assessed the proposed location for sports infrastructure aimed at expanding grassroots sports development and youth engagement. The proposed project includes a standard football pitch with pavilion, volleyball court, tennis court, and modern toilet facilities designed to improve sporting opportunities and encourage healthy recreational activities across the community.
