Kim Kardashian Awarded Symbolic 1 Euro in Damages Over 2016 Paris Robbery A Paris court has officially awarded media mogul Kim Kardashian a symbolic 1 euro ($1.15) in damages following the infamous 2016 armed robbery in the French capital. The ruling marks a major milestone in the reality star's quest for closure after what she previously described as the most terrifying ordeal of her life. Accountability Over Compensation The nominal sum awarded to Kardashian is exactly what she had requested from the court. In a joint statement with her stylist, Simone Harouche who was also present during the heist and received a matching 1-euro award Kardashian emphasized that the legal battle was never about money.  LASPA CHARGES LAGOSIANS ON RESPONSIBLE PARKING AS STATE PREPARES FOR STRUCTURED ON-STREET PARKING

The Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has stressed the need for responsible parking across Lagos, reaffirming its commitment to creating a safer, more orderly, and efficient parking system across the State.

The General Manager, LASPA, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, disclosed this yesterday while speaking on some of the activities of the Authority.

She reiterated the State Government's resolve for an effective parking system and urged Lagos motorists to make parking plans an essential part of their daily journey as the Authority commences the structured on-street parking programme soon.

Emphasising the need for Lagosians to adopt a new parking culture of planning their trips in advance, she said, "Before leaving home, motorists should think about where they are going, the most suitable mode of transportation and the availability (nearest) approved parking slots to their destination. Parking should become a pre-thought, not an afterthought."

Mrs. Adelabu further announced the readiness of LASPA for the implementation of the much-talked-about enhanced On-Street Parking initiative following the success of several planning, testing and system improvements.

According to her, designated streets across Lagos for the On-Street Parking programme will be clearly marked to indicate where parking is permitted, where paid parking applies and where parking is prohibited.

She therefore urged Lagos motorists to pay close attention to road signs and pavement markings, including red lines, single yellow lines and double yellow lines, which are designed to improve traffic management and ensure public safety.

Continuing, she stressed that paid parking is not new to motorists in Lagos, adding that the On-Street Parking reform is aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in parking management.

"Lagosians are already paying for parking in many parts of the city. Our goal is to ensure that these payments are made through a structured, accountable system that benefits the public rather than unregulated individuals."

The General Manager, LASPA, called on all motorists in the State to support the ongoing reforms by complying with parking regulations, observing traffic signs and embracing responsible parking practices.

She reaffirmed that public cooperation and shared responsibility in building a more organised and accessible Lagos are essential to the success of the On-Street Parking initiative.
