Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

 A message from The King following the demise of King Harald V of Norway.

 It is with the deepest sorrow that my wife and I have received the news of the death of my dear cousin, King Harald V of Norway. For thirty-five years, King Harald served his people with unwavering dedication and led Norway through times of major changes with warmth and humility. As Norway mourns the loss of such a devastating figure, my entire family joins in the memory of a much-loved relative and friend, whose kindness, compassion and deep sense of duty resonated across the seas and through the decades. Great Britain and Norway share particularly close historical and familiar bonds. Great Britain was one of the first countries to recognize Norway's independence establish diplomatic relations in 1905. These special connections were further strengthened through the horrific ordeal of World War ll and helped to tie our two countries even closer together. The Queen and I send our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Queen Sonja and her entire family as the UK shares in Norway's grief at this time of such a heartbreaking loss.
