Keke Palmer admits she 'doesn't really' shave her legs: 'I'm not doing it'

Keke Palmer recently spoke candidly about her approach to self‑care, admitting she doesn’t bother shaving her legs. During an appearance on the Are You Okay? show, the 32‑year‑old actress joked that if someone dislikes her because of her leg hair, then they simply aren’t meant to be with her.

Palmer explained that while shaving isn’t part of her routine, she occasionally uses Nair every six months, preferring that over the traditional razor and cream process.

Her openness about body choices ties into a broader conversation she’s been having about reconnecting with herself after motherhood. At the 2026 Tribeca Festival, Palmer reflected on how giving birth to her son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, reshaped her perspective.

She described pregnancy as an out‑of‑body experience and credited Pilates with helping her feel grounded again. The practice, she said, taught her to stay present in her body and strengthened her core, which translated into more intentional living day to day.

Motherhood, Palmer emphasized, has been transformative. She explained that raising her son forces her to remain present and prioritize her own well‑being because someone else depends on her.

Loving her child, she added, has also shown her what she deserves in life. For Palmer, being a mom is not only a gift but also a reminder to show up fully for herself and embrace the lessons that come with nurturing another human being.
