TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site. On 2 August 2026, the suspects guided troops to a shallow grave within Umudike Forest, one of the criminals’ known camps, where t...

SOUTH CAROLINA - A WELL-KNOWN LOCAL MAN, WHO FACES SERIOUS DAILY DIFFICULTIES, WAS BATTERED AND ROBBED BY A GROUP OF CALLOUS TEENS. (PHOTO)

South Carolina - A well-known local man, who faces serious daily difficulties, was battered and robbed by a group of callous teens.

Christopher Holdt is a fixture at the Anderson Station Shopping Center; he can be found there on most days. Christopher is known by most everyone in the community of Anderson, South Carolina, and is well-liked.

Christopher was born with a genetic condition, causing issues with the development of facial bones. He also has a tracheostomy and is especially vulnerable due to these conditions.

Because of all of his pre-existing health struggles, the events of Monday, July 27th left Christopher in a bad way.

On that Monday evening, a trio of local teens targeted Christopher.

Christopher was in the parking lot of Anderson Station Shopping Center when 17-year-old, Kenneth Croegaert and a 16-year-old accomplice approached him. The two teens threatened him with a firearm before snatching $200.

Even though the teens had taken his cash, the two apparently were not satisfied. For no reason, they began to physically hurt Christopher.

Before running to a getaway vehicle operated by 17-year-old Sheldon Almers, one of the assailants punched Christopher in the face.

The blow to his face caused Christopher to fall and also injure his hip.

Despite the actions of these teens, the community is still filled with caring people.  Several citizens rushed to Christopher's aid while awaiting law enforcement.

Deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff's Department arrived on the scene and were able to identify the teens through eyewitnesses and security footage.

The teens were quickly tracked down and brought to justice.

Both 17-year-olds are being charged as adults while the 16-year-old is facing charges through the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.

Sheriff Chad McBride said that his department is dedicated to ensuring the teens responsible for the robbery and assault are held accountable for their actions. He added that he finds the fact that they are beginning their adult lives involved in violent criminal behavior, especially troubling.

We agree with Sheriff McBride's sentiments and hope that Christopher heals from his injuries and recovers from the trauma he suffered from the reprehensible actions of these teens.
