Buhari believed Aso Rock gossip I planned killing him – Aisha Former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has narrated how her husband, the late President Muhammadu Buhari “began locking his room” following gossips in Aso Rock that she (Aisha) planned to kill him. The ex-First Lady also said  the health crisis that forced Buhari, to take 154 days of medical leave in 2017 began with a broken feeding routine and mismanaged nutrition. She argued that Buhari’s illness was not a mysterious ailment or poisoning. Her account of the health crisis appeared in a new 600-page biography, ’From Soldier to Statesman: The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari’,  authored by Dr. Charles Omole, launched at the State House on Monday. The 22-chapter book chronicles his early life in Daura, Katsina state, until his final hours in a London hospital in mid-July 2025. GOV. SANWO-OLU ATTENDS COMPLETION CEREMONY OF THE FIRST 2000 CARS ASSEMBLED BY GAC MOTORS IN LAGOS ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2023


 
Today, we marked a momentous occasion at the completion ceremony of the GAC Car Assembly Plant in Lagos. 

The partnership between Lagos State and CIG Motors represents a pivotal step towards greater industrialization, more jobs, and technical training for our people. 

This partnership, born in the challenging days of the pandemic, has flourished, not only giving birth to the GAC Motor Nigeria CKD factory but also aiding the growth and expansion of our LAGRIDE project. These initiatives signify our commitment to progress, innovation, and the betterment of Lagos State. 

The opening of this Vehicle Assembly Plant is a glowing emblem of our State's openness to investments that foster job creation, skill development, wealth creation, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The ripple effect of this investment extends far beyond the automotive sector. It has ushered in a new dawn of employment, providing our industrious youths with well-deserved jobs, thereby significantly reducing unemployment in Lagos.

With the GAC Assembly Plant in operation, we are poised to create more jobs and bolster technical skills among our workforce. 

This, in turn, contributes to the growth of our IGR, ensuring a more prosperous future for Lagos State. 

Together, we are giving rise to a brighter Lagos.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
