 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting.  It takes humility for him to apologize” – Evangelist Mike Bamiloye reacts to Pastor Adeboye’s apology over tithing


Nigerian clergyman Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has reacted to Pastor Adeboye’s apology over tithing.


We reported on Friday that in a video captured online, the Redeemed Christian Church of God founder admitted that his statement saying those who don’t pay tithe wouldn’t make heaven is wrong as it isn’t stated in the Bible. He noted how what the Bible talks about is following peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God.


His apology was well received by netizens who praised him for his maturity.


Also praising him, Mike Bamiloye via his Instagram page, noted how it takes humility for a man like him to apologize. He stated that if God hadn’t corrected him in the secret, he wouldn’t have done that.
