 EFCC Arraigns Three Indians,  Nigerian  for Alleged Criminal Breach of Trust The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  on Wednesday,  December 17, 2025 arraigned three Indians,  Lalit Sarwat, Ravi Raghavendra and Gagan Sarswat—alongside an Ilorin-based dispatch manager, Oniyide Samuel, before  Justice Sulaiman Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin They were arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and criminal breach of trust, contrary to and punishable under Sections 97 and 314 of the Penal Code. The Commission alleged that the defendants, while being servants in the employment of KAM Steel Integrated Company Limited, conspired among themselves between November 2024 and September 2025 to commit criminal breach of trust. US House Approves Bill Barring Transgender Athletes from Competing in Gendered Sports


The United States House of Representatives has passed a bill prohibiting transgender men from competing in men’s sports and transgender women from participating in women’s sports.


House Speaker Mike Johnson announced the development on Tuesday via X, stating, “Today is a great day in America because House Republicans just passed @RepGregSteube’s Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act ensuring men cannot compete in women’s sports. Men are men, women are women, and men cannot become women. It’s just that simple.”


This decision comes ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration next week. Trump, who previously banned transgender individuals from serving in the military, is speculated to revisit such policies during his administration.
