 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. A TRAGIC ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON VALENTINE'S DAY IN EASTHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, WHEN A LOCAL COUPLE FELL THROUGH THIN ICE WHILE WALKING THEIR DOG NEAR FIRST ENCOUNTER BEACH AND BEE'S RIVER. (PHOTO).

 A tragic accident occurred on Valentine's Day in Eastham, Massachusetts, when a local couple fell through thin ice while walking their dog near First Encounter Beach and Bee's River. 

Authorities responded after a bystander reported seeing the couple's wet and distressed dog alone, leading to the discovery of the woman in the frigid water. Despite rescue efforts by first responders, she was tragically recovered and pronounced deceased at the scene. The incident serves as a somber reminder of the dangers posed by unstable ice during winter outings, even in familiar areas.


The woman's husband is believed to have also entered the water during the event and remains missing as searches continue. Relatives have shared that the family is heartbroken by this devastating loss, remembering the couple for their kindness and community involvement.
