According to a report from RadarOnline on September 22, 2026, some people close to Jennifer Aniston have reportedly expressed concern about her relationship with boyfriend Jim Curtis. 

Aniston, 57, and Curtis, who have been together for about a year and a half, recently made a public appearance at New York's 92nd Street Y, where Aniston interviewed Curtis for the launch of his new book, The Book of Possibility. 

Following the event, some reports suggested that Curtis, a 50-year-old wellness coach, hypnotherapist and author, may be benefiting from Aniston's public profile to promote his work.

Curtis has been open about his own health journey, including a spinal diagnosis in his twenties that left him partially paralyzed and dealing with chronic nerve pain, which is a theme in his new book about overcoming adversity and finding clarity. 

While some entertainment outlets described the book event as raising questions among friends, other sources close to Aniston said she was fully aware of what it meant to lend her support. 

As one friend told Naughty But Nice earlier this month, "Jen understood exactly what it meant to lend her name to Jim's book. She did it with her eyes wide open. She wasn't being used; she was being a supportive girlfriend."

The situation has reportedly created some tension within her circle, with sources saying Aniston has been upset by suggestions that her partner is being opportunistic and that she is protective of the relationship. 

Aniston has described Curtis as very special, very normal and very kind, and someone focused on helping people heal. 

Commentators have noted that dating in the public eye often brings added scrutiny around career and power dynamics, while fans remain divided on social media. So far, neither Aniston nor Curtis has publicly addressed the speculation directly.
