 Corey Feldman hospitalized after mid-flight medical emergency at LAX  Actor Corey Feldman was hospitalized after experiencing a medical emergency during a flight and being taken directly from Los Angeles International Airport to a hospital, according to his publicist. The 54-year-old actor reportedly became ill while traveling from Chicago to Los Angeles on Monday. A doctor on board evaluated him during the flight before he was met upon arrival and transported for further treatment. He remained in the hospital overnight for observation. Early speculation suggested the issue could be related to gallstones, but his publicist said that possibility was ruled out by medical staff. Feldman was still undergoing evaluation and awaiting MRI results as of Tuesday morning. The former governor, his two sons, Aminu and Mustapha, Aminu Wada Abubakar, and their companies, Bamaina Holdings Ltd and Speeds International Ltd are standing trial before Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court, Abuja on a 37-count amended charge of money laundering to the tune of N1.35 billion fraud. El-rufai Ministerial Nomination received negative reactions as Kogi senator submits petition against the former governor over insecurity in Kaduna  Sunday Karimi, senator representing Kogi west, on Tuesday, presented a petition at the senate against Nasir el-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna state. Karimi submitted the petition against el-Rufai during the special plenary while the former governor was being screened by the upper legislative chamber. HELICOPTER CRASHED INTO A BUILDING IN IKEJA LAGOS. (VIDEOS/PHOTOS).

  Helicopter crashes into a building in Ikeja Lagos Pandemonium broke out in the Oba Akran, Ikeja area of Lagos on Tuesday afternoon when an unidentified helicopter crashed into a building, immediately igniting into flames. The incident occurred near the AP Filling Station and United Bank For Africa on Oba Akran Street in Ikeja, the Lagos State capital. According to eyewitness, the incident happened at about 3.30pm. At the time of this report, it was uncertain whether the helicopter pilots survived the crash or not. Additionally, there was no clarity on other casualties, as first emergency responders were still conducting ongoing rescue operations. In ongoing operations to deter  enforcement of the illegal sit at home declared by Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and and its armed wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN), combined troops of 82 Division Nigerian Army, sister Services, Nigeria Police and other security agencies have successfully raided hideouts and training camps belonging to IPOB/ESN in Orsomoghu Forest spanning Anambra and Imo States.  The raid operation was carried out on Monday 31 July 2023, when troops were alerted to the violent activities of the irredentist group enforcing the illegal 2 weeks sit-at-home order in Onitsha, Nnewi and Iheme Obosi in Anambra State, as well as New Market in Enugu state. During the raid operations, the troops cleared IPOB camps in Ekeututu, Orsomoghu, Lilu and Mother Valley camps of the dissidents. Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Mr. Mahmuda Mamman, stated this on Sunday, when he visited the bridge to ascertain the level of vandalisation. He called on security agencies to intensity surveillance on the Bridge to curtail the activities of the miscreants, who he said were after the mental components. He said: “We are here to see the level of vandalisation of the 2nd Niger Bridge.
