 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

3 PEOPLE TODAY DIED IN A BUS ACCIDENT,AT BENIN-WARRI HIGHWAY.

                   According to sources,atleast three people died in a ghastly motor accident that occured at Obayator village today saturday,along Benin Warri highway.Other people were seriously injured.The accident which occured ar about 8:30am,involved a Navy blue Toyota Hiace bus,Lagos XL 617 AGL,crashed into an aluminium coloured Toyota Sienna bus,marked as Delta Bur 598 AA.Both vehicles were travelling towards Benin city from Warri end of the double carriage way.Eyewitnesses claimed that the Hiace bus had burial posters of a woman,and the bus was on top speed when it lost control and rammed into the Sienna bus from behind,causing both vehicles to skid off the road.The burial bus is heading to Ekpoma,administrative headquarters of Esan West Local Government area of Edo state for burial.Youths of Obayator village,blocked the two sides of the double carriage way,thereby causing long queue of vehicles on the roads.

                           Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles was divorced from Beyonce's father Matthew Knowles in 2011,tied the knot with 68 year old actor Richard Lawson on a Yachat off Newport Beach on April 12.So yesterday friday,musician Beyonce took to her website to post several more shots from the yacht wedding of her mother Tina.In the new posted pictures,Jay Z was seen sitting with their daughter Blue Ivy,Solange's son Daniel,Solange herself,and Solanges husband Alan Ferguson.The colour for the wedding is obviously white as it had become a tradition for the Knowles family.More photos below.                                                                                             ...

                                      Today friday,Safety and Security Watch magazine owned by Dr Chinyere Amaechi,hosted the media,entertainers,Royal fathers etc,at their 2nd Nigerian Safety and Security Awards/ lectures held in Ikeja Lagos.I was in the event and i even performed one of my hit singles from my second upcoming album.The lectures i received today,opened my eyes to alot of safety measures i have over looked over the years.I am so glad that people are being recognized in the field of security and safety to enable people to have a safety working environment.The event was sponsored by Lafarge.More photos below.                        

EFCC TODAY ARRESTED BAYELSA FORMER GOVERNOR TIMIPRE SYLVA,OVER N48 BILLION FRAUD.

             According to sources who confirmed the arrest said that,today thursday ''The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,arrested Timipre Sylva,the former governor of Bayelsa state,following his refusal to honour invitations to answer charges over the allegations of fraud running into billions of Naira.The offence is said to have been committed while he served as the governor of Bayelsa state.He was picked up today at his Maitama,Abuja home''.More details later.More photos below.                                                                             

NOT LESS THAN 30,000 PEOPLE,TO MARCH TODAY IN JOHANNESBURG AGAINST XENOPHOBIA ATTACKS.

                    More than 30,000 people are expected to march through Hillbrow today against the recent scourge of Xenophobic attacks in Gauteng and Kwazulu Natal.The match is being organised by several civil society organisation.They said the march was to express an over whelming rejection of heinus Xenophobic acts.Atleast seven people have been killed in three weeks of the unrest,that have revived memories of Xenophobic bloodshed in 2008 when 62 people were killed mainly in Johannesburg town ships.UN Chief Ban Ki-Moon on wednesday condemned the violence and called for all efforts to be made to avoid future attacks.President Jacob Zuma has pledged to tackle anti-migrant sentiment in South Africa and to address deep rooted problems behind the attacks.One more photo below.                                               ...

OBANIKORO SUMMONED SOUTH AFRICAN HIGH COMMISSIONER,OVER THE XENOPHOBIC ATTACKS ON NIGERIAN CITIZENS.

               Foreign minister Musiliu Obanikoro summoned South African High Commissioner Lulu Mnguni to register Nigeria's protest over the on going Xenophobic attacks against fellow African's in South Africa.In the meeting,Ambassador Obanikoro condemned the attacks on foreigners in South Africa,expressing concern on the fate of Nigerians and indeed of other nationals who are migrants in the country.Koro said ''South Africa needed to take concrete steps to quell the unrest and bring the culprits involved to book,to act as a deterrent and prevent further violence''.He also called on the South African authorities to compensate the victims of these attacks.Soldiers were deployed over night to tackle gangs hunting down and killing foreigners after at least seven people died in violence in the last few weeks.If you ask me,it is a shameful act that Africans are killing themselves.The South Africans should also realize that their citizens are also domi...

                                  According to sources,Kate Middleton's real due date is today April the 22nd or tomorrow 23rd,not 25th April as was said initially.Though Royal sources point out that it has never been officially confirmed as such.''We haven't ever confirmed a due date,the Duchess herself said mid to late April and there have been plenty of dates bandied around in the media but we've never confirmed anything and we never will''.The close source said the Duchess is going into labour today or tomorrow not 25th.The Duchess is currently thought to be staying at Kensington palace,a short drive from the Lindo winf at St Mary's hospital where she is due to give birth.Yesterday tuesday,police could be seen searching the area in preparation for the Duchess arrival and were seen peering under traffic cones and taking lamp posts apart.More photos below.             ...
