 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NOT LESS THAN 30,000 PEOPLE,TO MARCH TODAY IN JOHANNESBURG AGAINST XENOPHOBIA ATTACKS.

                    More than 30,000 people are expected to march through Hillbrow today against the recent scourge of Xenophobic attacks in Gauteng and Kwazulu Natal.The match is being organised by several civil society organisation.They said the march was to express an over whelming rejection of heinus Xenophobic acts.Atleast seven people have been killed in three weeks of the unrest,that have revived memories of Xenophobic bloodshed in 2008 when 62 people were killed mainly in Johannesburg town ships.UN Chief Ban Ki-Moon on wednesday condemned the violence and called for all efforts to be made to avoid future attacks.President Jacob Zuma has pledged to tackle anti-migrant sentiment in South Africa and to address deep rooted problems behind the attacks.One more photo below.
