 A Chester, Illinois man was recently arrested and charged for crimes against  at least one minor. When his mugshot was shared, with the charges included, several other young ladies came forward and told their stories.  Joshua Addison, 37-years-old, was arrested and charged on September 25th for incidents that happened approximately May, 13th of this year. He is currently in the Randolph County Jail.  When the news broke, several (at least 6) females shared screenshots and stories alleging Addison had sent them inappropriate messages. One individual shared a screenshot exhibiting that she confronted Addison and reminded him they were cousins. In that same exchange, the young lady asked if Addison knew her age. Acclaimed Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha has announced the passing of her beloved father, Leonard Ndukaife Chukwuka. The movie star shared the tragic news in an emotional social media post on Friday, expressing her profound grief over the loss.


Navigating the Pain of Losing Both Parents


In her heartfelt Instagram update, the actress revealed that her father has gone to be with the Lord. Reflecting on the double tragedy of losing both parents, she noted that her mother passed away 13 years ago. The actress admitted that the reality of having neither parent left has broken her heart in a way she cannot fully put into words.


Describing her father affectionately as her comfort and her daddy, she expressed deep appreciation for the long and fulfilling life he lived. She noted that she was incredibly grateful to God that he was able to see his children and grandchildren, though she had secretly harbored hopes that he would live long enough to meet his future great-grandchildren.


A Private Time of Grief and Reflection


The Nollywood icon shared that she initially kept the news quiet to allow herself the space to process her personal sorrow before sharing it with the world. She emphasized how difficult it is to lose a parent, regardless of their age, noting that children always yearn for one more conversation or one final embrace with their mother or father.


She expressed gratitude for the special moments they shared, particularly towards the end of his life. To conclude her public tribute, she posted comforting biblical passages, including Proverbs 17:6 and Psalm 34:18, which reminds believers that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.


Asking for privacy and support, she requested that fans and well-wishers keep her, her siblings, and the entire Chukwuka family in their prayers. The family intends to announce the official funeral arrangements for the late patriarch, whom she fondly called the Olowo of Ikate, once plans are finalized.
