 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. ANITA BAKER,ISSUED WITH A WARRANT FOR HER ARREST.

Illustrious career: The 56-year-old - pictured here at the 47th annual Grammy Awards in 2004 - has won eight Grammys, while she has five platinum and one gold album           56 year old Anita Baker,said she is terrified and she is in total shock to learn that authorities in Detroit had issued the warrant after she failed to appear in court for a civil lawsuit hearing on wednesday.''I've never been in trouble with the law,i'm terrified''.She keep insisting she knew nothing about the hearing relating to an unpaid bill for services completed on her Grose Pointe home.On friday,her lawyer Jamal Hamood,filed a motion to have the warrant lifted and the default judgement  overturned following her no show.She only learnt of her own warrant of arrest on thursday when she watched it being broadcast on TV.Read her tweet below and other pictures.                                                                                                                               'BIG time crazy': Anita expressed her surprise about the warrant on Twitter on Thursday, after learning about it while watching TV  A star is born: The Ohio-born songstress - seen here in 1985 - scored huge hits in the 1980s with songs such as the Grammy-winning single Sweet Love'I've never been in trouble with the law.
