 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. ALAO ARISEKOLA,DIED IN SWITZERLAND HOSPITAL YESTERDAY.

              The Are Musulumi of Yoruba land,and a popular Islamic leader from Ibadan Oyo state,Alao Abdulazeez Arisekola has passed away yesterday in Switzerland hospital of colon cancer.The news was confirmed by his eldest daughter Khadija,who communicated with the press..He was known to be a philanthropist.More details about his death will be updated later.May his soul rest in peace amen.
