 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. SUSPECTED ISLAMIST MALI JAIL BREAK FUGITIVE,MAHAMED ARRESTED .

            Officials disclosed that Mali security forces have arrested Mahamed Aly Ag Wadoussene,a fugitive at the heart of a jail break in Mali's capital on June 16,in which at least two people were killed and 22 prisoners escaped.Ag Wadoussene who shot his way out of prison,was being held for his alleged role in the 2011 kidnapping of two French citizens who ended up in the hand of Al Qaeda's in North Africa.Army spokesman Major Modibo Traore,confirmed the arrest and saying ''Mahamed Aly Ag Wadoussene was arrested in Bamako.We knew he was going to try and contact his girlfriend,who lives with a family in Bamako''.Ag Wadoussene was arrested on tuesday night at Hamdalaye neigborhood in the Malian capital.

    is the picture in this story the prison? i mean cos a dude does not have to shoot his way out, pushing down the wall will be less messy and what a dumb move on the part of the escapee. didn't he learn a thing from watching #PrisonBreak ?
