 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. LAGOS STATE GOVT GAVE N50 MILLION TO FIRST CONSULT HOSPITAL.

                    These money given to the first consultant hospital to me they deserved it because if not for that hospital and the late female doctor,Dr Stella Adedavoh,Ebola virus would have spread beyond control in Nigeria.When they admitted Patrick Sawyer {the Liberian that brought Ebola to Nigeria},they quickly reported the matter to the state government which help curtained the spread of Ebola virus in the country.The hospital also lost four of it staff including its most senior consultant,Dr Stella Adedavoh.At a news conference yesterday monday at the Bagauda Kaltho press centre,Alausa,Ikeja,Lagos,Commissioner for health,Dr Jide Idris said ''We are giving N50 million lump sum as business support gesture to first consultant medical centre.This is with a view to getting people and business back on their feet and for business to re-secure patronage of their customers.It  needs clearly be stated that this is not an attempt at compensation but a gesture of goodwill on the part of government''.More photos below.
