 COAS DEEPENS VETERAN ENGAGEMENT, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO TROOP WELFARE, ARMY TRANSFORMATION The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigerian Army to the welfare of serving and retired personnel, while advancing ongoing reforms aimed at building a more professional, adaptable, technologically enabled and combat-ready force. The COAS stated this on Thursday, 17 September 2026, when he received members of the Executive Committee of the Course 39 Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) United Welfare Association (UWA), led by its President, Air Vice Marshal Ibikunle Daramola (Rtd), on  a courtesy visit to Army Headquarters, Abuja. A FISH WITH HUMAN TEETH,WAS DISCOVERED RECENTLY IN NEW JERSEY USA.

                                Fishermen in New Jersey USA,found a bizarre fish with what looks like human teeth.The baffled fishermen caught the fish after they recently discovered it in a lake thousands of miles from its home.One of the fishermen Frank said ''I've never seen anything like that before in the lake.It was different,but on closer inspection,the fish teeth weren't pointed and sharp like a human's''.Another fisherman identified as Ron said ''We did pull the bottom lip down to see what they looked like and they have almost human teeth''.After some research,Ron and Frank discovered that the fish was actually a PACU,that is usually found thousands of miles away in South America.Pacu are actually related to Piranhas but unlike their meat loving cousins,they are actually omnivorous.More photos below.
