Okwudili Urges Communities to Adopt Building Layouts By Ruth Orji The Head of Development Control, Anambra State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ngozi Okwudili, has urged communities to develop layouts guiding building development. Okwudili made the call during an enforcement exercise at Nawfia, Oye-Agu, Odoakpu and Trans-Nkisi area on September 1, 2026. She advised community leaders and stakeholders to establish approved layouts serving as guides for prospective builders and ensuring compliance with physical planning laws and building regulations. According to her, the existence of standard layouts would provide clear development guidelines for intending builders, reduce indiscriminate construction and minimise persistent violations of building regulations.
