TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. Today wednesday 14th of October 2015,the Nigerian Senate has formerly confirmed the nominations Ex-Governor Babatunde Fashion,Lai Mohammed who is the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress {APC} and 17 others as ministers.The Senate gave the approval today wednesday after screening the nominees.Out of the 21 names that was sent to the Senate by the President of Nigeria,only 19 were confirmed but the remaining two {Rotimi Amaechi and Commissioner Adebayo Shittu},would be screened tomorrow thursday.President Muhammadu Buhari also withdraw the name of one of ministerial nominee Ahmed Isa Ibeto,who is representing Niger State.Saraki said the withdrawal was contained in a letter President Buhari sent the senate.No reason was given for the withdrawal of Ibeto who is currently the deputy governor of Niger state.More photos below.
